1st Trip to the Capital of the Philippines -- Manila

This is one of the journey's which I wouldn't forget since this is the first time I'm in a big GROUP.

This journey is with my high school classmates.  This is the graduating students so-called On the Job Trainee.

We are also the first high school students in our school that traveled outside the city.

I really miss these people.

First part of our tour would be, the Philippine Science Centrum.  It is the first interactive science museum in the Philippines.  You can have a hands on experience on the different things you see there and understand the concept of science and technology presented there.

There are presentations so that one could understand further and have the different explanations.

Next stop would be Ateneo de Manila University.  I really liked this university since their school color is blue which is my favorite color.

This is the Church of Gesรน and this is the landmark church inside the university.

The next school to visit to is the University of the Philippines - Diliman Campus. This is the Philippines' premier institution of higher learning.   It is a very big university since you would also be able to see here dorms, school buildings, school grounds, hospital, church, and a mall.   You have to take a jeepney inside to roam around the other places in the school.

When you get inside the school, you would see the iconic figure of UP - the UP Oblation Statue.  This statue is created by a National Artist named Guillermo Tolentino.

The next part of the itinerary would be, Fort Santiago.  This is a defense fortress.  This is where our hero, Dr. Jose Rizal was imprisoned.

This would be the last place to go to on our itinerary for the day, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.  This is the place where all our money's are made.  Once you get to tour the place, you would see the different paper bills that we had before and the coins as well.

That night, we visited WOW Philippines exhibit.

DAY 3
