Bohol

It's my first time in Bohol.  This is known for the Chocolate Hills and the Tarsier.  The first thiing that excites me on my trip to Bohol would be my first ever experience of their zipline.  It's not the longest zipline but its worth a try.

After our shift, we then headed to Pier 1 to take a fast craft going to Tagbilaran City which is the capital of Bohol. It would take about one hour and a half going to Bohol.  It's just a 2 day trip.
Upon arrival in Bohol, we then looked for our van which we hired for our whole trip.

Our first stop, E.A.T or Extreme/Eco/Educational Adventure Tour in Danao.  This is one where you get to do extreme stuffs like Ziplet, Sky Ride, Plunge, Suislide, River Trekking, River Tubing,River, Kayaking,Wall Climbing, Village Tour, Organic Farm Visitation, Camping, Rappelling, Root Climbing and Caving.

We first payed for our entrance which is P25.00.  Since we don't like to purchase a specific package, we instead chose to pay for the activity that we would like.  For the zipline, it would cost  P350.00.  I don't want to do the other activities because we have limited time and I don't think some of it are fun.

You can check out E.A.T Danao's site for additional information:

Different Activities you can try

The zipline experience was the best.  When I wore the suit and was in preparation for the flight, I was really scared.  When I was already doing it, its so nice because of the view.  The scary feeling would be gone.

After the ride, we then headed for our next destination, Sagbayan Peak.  Sagbayan Peak is a mountain resort and recreation center located in the town of Sagbayan.  This is the place where you could see the 360 degrees view of the Chocolate Hills.
When you reach the place, you will have to purchase your entrance ticket for P10.00.  Beside the ticket booth is a screen-enclosed structure with plants inside housing some tarsiers.  You can take pictures of the tarsiers but you have to also make sure that you remove the flash since they are sensitive to it.
You will have to go up the stairs and see different life size figures like the T-Rex, Duffy Duck, Bugs Bunny and many more.  There is also a place where you could purchase foods and drinks an eat there.
The place is so huge that there is a playground and an area where you could do picnics

As the day ended for us, we then headed back to Tagbilaran to have an overnight stay.  We also went to the mall to purchase our 'pasalubong'.

The Van Service
On our last day, the first place we went to is the Choco Complex.  This is where you get to see a lot of Chocolate Hills.  This is also where the movie "Close to you" by Bea Alonzo, Sam Milby and John Lloyd Cruza was shot.  You have to go up the stairs to see the view and also you could find there a wishing well.

While going back to Tagbilaran, we have passed by the man made mahogany forest. When you look at the forest, its so peaceful and its so nice to look at especially when you are a lover of nature.

Another place that you can go to in Bohol is the Hanging Bridge.  This bridge is approximately 20 meters above the Loboc River and sways back and forth as you walk across.  It's really a challenge especially when you are afraid of heights.

One of the major tourist destination would be the Loboc River. Since we are not interested on riding the boat and eat there for a fee, we just decided to stay where we had a view of the river.  Near the river, they also have a screen protected area where there are animals like the tarsier.

There is another Bohol Pride, its the biggest Python named Prony.  When we arrived at the place, the python just ate so it just stays still and the skin is slowly peeling.  We go the chance to take a picture near the python.  I am scared of snakes but I stayed near it just for pictorial purposes.

The Baclayon church is one of the oldest churches in Asia.  Beside the church is sa convent where it has a small museum. At the side of the church, you would be able to see the face of  Padre Pio.

Our last stop before going home would be the monument of the Blood Compact.  This is considered as the first treaty of friendship between the Spaniards and Filipinos. The Visayan word 'Sandugo' means 'one blood. This was performed by the Spanish explorer Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and the chief of Bohol , Datu Sikatuna.

In this generation, I don't think you'd be able to do this.
